She quickly advanced her way up to management and then secured a seat on the Exchange while working for an Institutional Trading Firm. Ms. Piazza continued as a broker until 2005, when she decided to move to Palm Beach County, Florida.
- Once in Florida, Ms. Piazza got her licenses to sell annuities and other investment vehicles, life insurance, disability insurance and long-term care; and started working with a large Insurance Carrier for the next 5 years.
- Watching many large companies acquire smaller firms, and seeing all of the changes taking place in corporate America, Ms. Piazza decided to step away from Financial Services to a position in Management Consulting in order to learn the processes and methodologies assisting Fortune 500 companies make their way through a significant change to drive and achieve tangible profit improvement, and/or get through economic downturns. Behavior modification and effective tactical execution were crucial during these times. Being in constant communication with C-Level Executives, she got a very good understanding of what is important to drive a successful organization. Her team focused on improving organizations’ overall effectiveness by analyzing performance gaps, implementing process improvements, capacity management, Lean Manufacturing, cycle time reduction and aligning multiple departments through effective change management.
- Ms. Piazza then went back to Financial Services at one of the top Supplemental Insurance Companies, to help fill the gaps where health insurance was failing. Being in a management position exposed her to every type of business and every pain point that those businesses had. She found that she needed to bring more value to these organizations than just a supplemental program.
- Since then, Ms. Piazza has worked relentlessly with medium and large companies, developing a wide range of value creating solutions throughout organizations generating significant savings to organizations’ bottom lines.
